The Logytel ST 25 product has been designed to have a system available on the 25 kV AC electrification networks of High Speed Railway Operators in order to provide, at a low cost, a signal that indicates the presence or absence of tension on the Overhead Contact Line, thereby indicating the value of the voltage present.

The main application of the product is to monitor the status of the isolation switches through the direct measurement of the voltage present.

The sensor consists of a capacitor voltage divider that is internally reinforced by fibreglass and which includes an exterior sheath of silicone.

The following can be cited as the main characteristics:

• The sensor is entirely passive, thereby providing a divider output.
• The measurement precision is 10%.
• The impedance that is presented between the catenary system and the post is 40 picofarads.
• The operating temperature margin is -20º C
  to +70º C.

The maximum height is 36 cm and the maximum diameter is 9.5 cm. At the base, the sensor provides a metallic plate, which serves to attach it to the lift cantilever. This fastening plate is the ground for the sensor.

The sensor is installed on the posts with an isolating switch, thereby facilitating the lower data connection with the operation.

From a regulatory point of view, and in general, the product complies with all applicable CENELEC regulations and regulations for railway materials.

The product does not require maintenance of any kind.
